I’ve got one more yummy festive peppermint bark recipe for you guys — and this one is SO easy and perfect for a homemade gift! I love bringing a baggie of this peppermint bark with me as a hostess gift. It’s so easy to make and beware, it’s addicting.
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips (60% cacao!)
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2 cup crushed peppermints — this bag or this bag makes it easier!
Place waxed paper in a baking sheet pan.
Add dark chocolate chips to a medium glass microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave in 30 second increments, until melted. This makes sure we don’t burn the chocolate! Remove from microwave and stir until smooth.
Pour chocolate into the prepared sheet pan and place in the freezer until set, about 3-5 minutes.
Repeat the same process with the white chocolate chips or baking chips. Once melted, remove the sheet pan from freezer and spread the white chocolate evenly over the dark chocolate.
Sprinkle crushed peppermint over white chocolate and return to the freezer until firm, about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from freezer. Break peppermint bark into pieces.
