Does it get any better than ooey gooey cinnamon roll casserole? I’ve made this three times this month — that’s when you know it’s good! It’s so easy to make and it’s perfect for a family breakfast (hello, Christmas morning!), but I’ve also made it for a football tailgate too and people went crazy over it!
Does anyone else wish there could be icing on hand at all times? It just makes me happy.
2 tubes of cinnamon rolls
4 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup maple syrup
Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters, setting icing aside.
Coat a baking dish (~9 x 13) with the melted butter and place the quartered cinnamon rolls in the dish.
In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup.
Pour mixture on top of the cinnamon rolls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (or until fully cooked and golden brown).
Let the casserole sit for 10 minutes before putting the icing on it. Coat with icing and serve!
Note: if you want more icing (lol, judge me), mix some powdered sugar and water to make some!
