Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is considered to be the largest protected wildlife area in Goa. It is located at Western Ghats, approximately north of Panjim City. The area of this sanctuary is 240-square kilometres. This sanctuary offers an exquisite wildlife experience and captivating scenes for all tourists. Undoubtedly, the local cuisine is mouth-watering and offers you a delectable culinary experience which is a must-try during Goa trip. There is also a huge variety of lip-smacking vegetarian food i.e. Bhaji, Varan, Tondak etc. served with a variety of pickles, papads and a portion of rice or breads.
