6 Must Have White Blouses from Anthropologie

White is hands down my favorite shade to wear. It adds a freshness to looks and makes them feel clean and crisp. It compliments any other color and you can really play up texture and detailing when wearing it. In my opinion, you can never have too many white blouses, and you can never have too many textural pieces from Anthropologie. I swear they have a whole division of the company that is solely dedicated to find the softest things ever made.

It doesn't matter if it's summer, winter, workwear or weekend wear, you can't go wrong with white. It is similar to most other neutrals in that, depending on fabric and cut, it tends to make outfits look more expensive. It's similar to black, specifically, in that an all-white look is not only acceptable to wear these days, but if you have the guts (and not a 4 month old like myself), it's encouraged.

A trendy way to incorporate white into a look is to go monochromatic and mix varying shades of white like cream, champagne, dove gray, etc. as well as textures (for summer, opt for linens, cottons, crepes and lace). If you're looking for summer-chic pieces with ease, versatility and timelessness, check out these gorgeous white blouses from Anthropologie.

Civita Mockneck Tank

by Paul & Joe at Anthropologie

I love this blouse because it is so interesting. From the cutouts to the ruffle trim and the soft pleats, this blouse has so much detail! It would pair easily with high waisted trousers and pencil skirts.

Eyelet Off-The-Shoulder Top

by Eri + Ali at Anthropologie

If you haven't tried an off-the-shoulder top yet this summer, get on it. They're versatile, feminine and on trend. This one by Eri + Ali is cotton eyelet (so comfy) with a nice soft cotton lining. It's pullover styling and stretchy neckline makes it a great option to grow or shrink with you if you're pregnant or transitioning between sizes.

Altura Halter Top

by Vanessa Virginia at Anthropologie

This beautiful blouse is made of embroidered cotton and I was surprised to see this was a pullover. Although it is cotton, it would add a bit of organic elegance to a look and could top off a pair of kick flares or your favorite old pair of jeans.

Linen Ladder Lace Tank

by Cloth & Stone at Anthropologie

This blouse combines a classic silhouette with a ladder lace detail. I have a few Cloth & Stone shirts and they are hands down, the softest, most comfortable shirts I own. However, I followed the care instructions when washing my favorite one and it shrunk down quite a bit, so just a heads up with that.

Ruffled Poplin Tee

by Maeve at Anthropologie

This top is another great option no matter what size you are, or if you're in-between sizes. It will add volume to a very petite frame, femininity to an athletic build and hide a tummy and slim arms if you've got a little more to love. I actually love the styling from Anthropologie in this image.
